Tony Staubach

Updated: Jul 18, 2023

Food rescue helps Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen and Social Center cook and serve upwards of 1,500 nutritious meals each week, keeping guests fed, reducing wasted food, and benefiting the environment.

This touching story, which demonstrates just how important it is to make sure good food stays out of landfills, was written and illustrated by Our Daily Bread’s Kat Heilman, Director of Communication.
